Delour Enterprises
Queensland
Get on the tools.
Work independently.
Get rewarded for performance.
Delour Enterprises Pty Ltd is expanding its Water Infrastructure Division across Brisbane, and we're looking for motivated, reliable and hands‐on subcontractors to join our growing field team.
This isn't a role where you'll be left on your own after induction.
We provide structured training, ongoing field support, quality and compliance guidance, clear productivity targets and a transparent performance‐based payment structure designed to reward subcontractors who become efficient at the work.
If you have experience in plumbing, civil construction, utilities, landscaping, drainage, pipe laying, earthworks, maintenance or other hands‐on trades, we want to hear from you.
Previous trade or construction experience is highly desirable; previous water meter experience is not essential.
If you're comfortable getting on the tools, working outdoors and getting your hands dirty, this could be an excellent long‐term opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll primarily undertake residential water meter manifold replacement works throughout allocated areas of Brisbane.
Your day‐to‐day work will include:
Replacing residential water meter manifolds and associated components
Locating and exposing existing water services
Excavating around water meters and pipework
Removing existing manifolds and fittings
Using reciprocating saws, grinders, hammer drills and other power tools
Installing new manifold assemblies
Pressure testing completed installations and checking for leaks
Reinstating soft and hard surface areas to the required standard
Taking completion photographs and recording work through a mobile application
Identifying and reporting site, asset and safety issues
Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
Interacting professionally with residents and customers
Meeting Delour Enterprises and client quality, safety and compliance requirements
This is a physical, hands‐on outdoor position involving regular digging, kneeling, lifting and use of power tools.
Your Standard Installation Rates
Subcontractors are paid for completed and compliant installations.
Soft Surface Manifold Exchange
$55 per completed installation
Hard Surface Manifold Exchange
$110 per completed installation
In addition to your installation payments, Delour Enterprises will make a 12.5% superannuation contribution on eligible net earnings, subject to the applicable subcontracting arrangement and superannuation requirements.
Guaranteed Weekly Performance Income Program
We don't want good technicians wondering what strong weekly performance is worth.
Our Guaranteed Weekly Performance Income Program provides clear earning milestones for subcontractors who achieve the applicable productivity thresholds while maintaining our required standards of workmanship, safety and compliance.
We use Performance Units (PUs) so you're fairly recognised for the different types of work you complete.
How Performance Units Work
1 Soft Surface Manifold Exchange = 1 PU
1 Hard Surface Manifold Exchange = 2 PUs
For example:
Completed Work Performance Units :
30 Soft = 30 PUs
28 Soft + 1 Hard = 30 PUs
33 Soft + 1 Hard = 35 PUs
30 Soft + 5 Hard = 40 PUs
36 Soft + 2 Hard = 40 PUs
Your Weekly Performance Targets
PerformanceGuaranteed Performance Income
30 PUs $1,850
35 PUs $2,100
40 PUs $2,500 including $150 performance bonus
This provides motivated subcontractors with clear weekly earning targets and rewards those who develop the speed, consistency and workmanship required to perform at a high level.
Important: Guaranteed Performance Income is achieved through completed and compliant installations meeting the applicable weekly PU threshold.
It is not a fixed weekly retainer or payment for simply being available for work.
Quality, safety and compliance requirements apply.
Want to Earn More?
Keep Going.
Reaching 40 PUs doesn't mean you have to stop.
Once you exceed 40 Performance Units during the week, our Performance Rate Accelerator applies to additional completed installations for that week.
Your rates increase by 20% to:
Soft Surface: $55 → $66 per installation
Hard Surface: $110 → $132 per installation
There is no fixed earnings cap under the performance model.
The more efficiently you can complete compliant, high-quality work, the greater your earning potential.
Productivity never comes before safety or quality.
$750 Paid Training & Induction
Never replaced a water meter before?
That doesn't automatically rule you out.
For candidates with the right hands‐on experience, attitude and mechanical aptitude, we provide structured training to teach you our installation process.
Successful subcontractors receive:
$750 training and induction payment
Practical field training
Client and project induction
Installation procedure training
Quality and compliance training
Safety training
Mobile work management system training
Ongoing field mentoring
Supervisor support once operating independently
The $750 training payment is paid with your first invoice following successful completion of the required training and induction program.

Performance is monitored across:
Productivity | Quality | Safety | Compliance | Reliability | Customer Service
We're looking for subcontractors who can work efficiently while consistently delivering work they're proud to put their name against.
Repeated quality, safety or compliance issues will affect eligibility for performance incentives and may affect ongoing engagement.
