A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experiencedTechnical Writer Content Designerto join a high-performing project delivery team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of clear, accurate and user-focused technical documentation across complex CRM and related project environments.
The successfulTechnical Writer Content Designerwill produce a range of design, configuration, technical support, training and user documentation, working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex concepts into accessible content.
The will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions, based inCanberrawith flexiblehybrid work arrangementsconsidered in line with business requirements.
The successfulTechnical Writer Content Designerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
Produce high-quality design, configuration, technical support and training documentation for complex project environments.




Develop technical reference material, system design documentation, service support documents and user-friendly training guides.
Translate complex technical information into clear, plain-English content for technical, non-technical and executive audiences.
Ensure documentation aligns with Commonwealth Style Guide, accessibility requirements and project delivery standards.
To be successful, theTechnical Writer Content Designerwill demonstrate:
Demonstrated experience producing high-quality online software documentation using clear, plain and user-centred English.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Confluence and JIRA to support documentation, collaboration and reporting.
Experience delivering measurable outputs in alignment with SAFe delivery practices, including planning, review and continuous improvement.
Solid critical thinking, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience in large, complex environments highly regarded.
