We are seeking an experiencedOstendo Developerto join our team on a short-term contract, with the potential for extension.
This is a hands-on development role focused onOstendo scripting, workflow implementation, automation and system improvement.
You will work closely with the business to develop practical solutions that improve processes, efficiency and the user experience.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing our Ostendo ERP environment, with a particular focus on scripting and workflow automation.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, maintaining and modifyingOstendo scripts.
Automating business processes, data updates and repetitive tasks.
Developing scripts forbusiness rules, validations, calculations and automated actions.
Designing and implementingOstendo workflowsto streamline business processes.
Translating manual processes into automated workflows, including approvals, validations, notifications and system actions.
Troubleshooting and improving existing scripts, workflows and customisations.
Developing and maintainingcustom data screensand functionality.
Developing reports, queries and data solutions within Ostendo.
Working with SQL and Ostendo data to investigate issues and develop solutions.
Working with users and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
Testing and documenting new functionality and system changes.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Ostendo users.
Assisting with theupgrade from Ostendo Build 242 to Build 243 Continuum, including testing existing scripts, workflows and customisations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstratedhands-on Ostendo development experience.
Strong experience withOstendo scripting.
Experience designing and implementingOstendo workflows and automation.
Experience with Ostendo customisation, including data screens and reports.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
The ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
Robust communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
