STRAIGHT TO SITE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Position: Traffic Controller
Employment Type: Casual (with potential for ongoing work)
Locations: Various metro & regional sites
Start Date: Immediate for suitable applicants
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Traffic Controller with STS Traffic, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and compliant traffic flow around work sites.
You will work across civil, construction, and infrastructure projects, representing our company with professionalism and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic management devices in accordance with TMPs
Direct and control traffic using stop/slow bat and radio communication
Ensure safety for workers, contractors, road users, and the public
Complete required paperwork, JSA's, and site reporting as needed
Work as part of a team to deliver safe and productive traffic solutions
REQUIREMENTS
Current Traffic Control Tickets:TMI1/TC1 (minimum)
White Card
Full PPE (Hi-Vis long sleeve/long pants,



steel caps, gloves, glasses, hard hat)
Reliable transport to and from site
Ability to work independently and follow safety instructions
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends when required
HIGHLY REGARDED
TMI2/TC2
First Aid Certificate
Previous traffic management experience
Ability to work regional shifts or stay-away work (when available)
