Your role
As our Learning Resource Development Officer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality training and assessment materials for a range of accredited and non-accredited programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment and enjoys working on diverse and meaningful projects.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop engaging, learner-focused training and assessment resources aligned with the RTO's scope of registration, with a strong focus on first aid.
Maintain and update a national library of learning materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practice.
Support validation activities and implement necessary resource updates.
Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and state and territory offices to gather feedback and communicate changes effectively.
Collaborate on instructional design projects, including storyboarding and mapping out learner journeys.
Support continuous improvement processes by engaging stakeholders and collecting feedback.
Liaise with state and territory offices, subject matter experts, and trainers to ensure high-quality content delivery.
Provide administrative and compliance support as needed
Ability to travel interstate for training and operational support.
Your experience
Proven experience in developing educational or training resources with a learner-centric approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confidence working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Experience with blended learning, adult education methodologies, and stakeholder engagement is highly desirable.
Exposure to instructional design practices such as storyboarding or digital content mapping (beneficial but not essential).
Qualifications /Licences
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent),
Current Driver's Licence
Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Australian Right to Work Check
