experienced Industrial Cleaner
to join our team and maintain the high hygiene and food-safety standards required throughout our facility.
About the Role
This is a hands-on cleaning position within a seafood processing environment. Your main responsibility will be ensuring our factory, processing areas, offices and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and ready for production.
Hours:
5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and washing down seafood processing areas
Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production equipment
High-pressure washing of floors,



walls and work areas
Cleaning benches, drains, tubs and food-contact surfaces
Correct use of cleaning chemicals and sanitising products
Following cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
Completing cleaning and sanitation records where required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following
HACCP and food-safety procedures
Working safely around machinery and production equipment
What We're Looking For
Previous industrial or food-processing cleaning experience is essential.
The successful applicant must:
Have previous experience in
industrial, factory or food-production cleaning
Understand
HACCP and food-safety procedures
Understand cleaning and sanitising requirements in a food facility
Be comfortable working in a
wet and cold environment
Be physically fit and capable of manual cleaning duties
Have good attention to detail
Be reliable and punctual for a
5:00 AM start
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Understand workplace health and safety requirements
Have full Australian working rights
Experience cleaning
seafood, meat, poultry or other food-processing facilities
will be highly regarded.
