This is a 12
month Fixed Term Part Time appointment for ***** hours per

About the role: PathWest is
seeking an experienced and strategic Manager Research and
Innovation to lead the organisation's research and clinical trials
activities. This pivotal role serves as the primary contact for
ClinicalTrialsWA, ensuring delivery of PathWest's commitments under
the ClinicalTrialsWA Memorandum of Understanding while driving
collaboration across research, healthcare, government and industry
stakeholders.
We are
seeking a proven leader with significant experience in research
management, clinical trials, research governance or innovation
within a healthcare, research or academic environment. Strong
stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, analytical and
people leadership skills are essential, along with a passion
for advancing research and clinical trial opportunities that
deliver meaningful outcomes for patients and the health
system.

this recruitment process requires completion of satisfactory

position. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of
employment being withdrawn.
Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for
other 'similar' vacancies within PathWest and/or the wider WA
public sector. In addition to this, should the successful applicant
decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most
suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of
these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from
when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
