An opportunity has become available for a Project Management Accountant to support the financial performance of a significant project portfolio. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting month-end processes including accruals, journals, reconciliations and financial analysis
Preparing project budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts
Analysing project performance across capex, opex, labour and other project costs
Preparing financial reports, dashboards, commentary and insights for key stakeholders




Supporting project cost control and investigating variances and transactional anomalies
Assisting with asset capitalisation and project accounting requirements
Supporting systems, process improvements and recent finance initiatives
Partnering with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and data integrity
Supporting ad hoc financial and commercial analysis
To be successful in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with approximately 5+ years' experience across management accounting, financial accounting or project finance. You will ideally have exposure to infrastructure, construction, engineering or another project-based environment, with strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, project cost analysis and capex/opex reporting. You will be analytical, commercially minded and confident working with a range of stakeholders.
