Insurance Supervisor & Estimator
Your new company Hays has partnered with a well-established insurance repair and restoration contractor delivering residential repair projects across South East Queensland.
With a strong pipeline of insurance work secured through leading insurers and loss adjusters, this business continues to experience sustained growth and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Estimator / Supervisor to join their Brisbane team.
Working in a hybrid capacity, you will be responsible for both estimating and supervising insurance rectification projects from assessment through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed repair scopes.
Producing accurate estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and homeowners.
Coordinating subcontractors and trades throughout project delivery.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously across residential and commercial assets.
Monitoring project budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and QBCC regulations.
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims and repair process.




What you'll need to succeed:
Previous experience in insurance building, restoration or remedial construction.
Strong estimating experience with the ability to prepare detailed repair scopes and costings.
Site supervision or project delivery experience within insurance repairs, maintenance or residential construction.
Sound understanding of building codes, construction methods and insurance claim processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
QBCC Supervisor Licence or Builder Licence required.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a rapid-paced environment.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
