We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters with a strong safety focus and sound knowledge of field mining equipment repairs, maintenance and breakdowns.

About the Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing a range of planned maintenance and breakdown work across mining equipment. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working in a dynamic mining environment.
About You
Mining and/or heavy mobile equipment experience
Solid mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with maintenance and breakdown repairs
Strong commitment to safety
Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience working on heavy machinery (Essential)
Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
Current Drivers Licence
Confined Space, GTA & Working at Heights
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
Ability to meet site requirements
