About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Interiors business at our Ingleburn manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the site's end-to-end manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, operational performance and continuous improvement across four production lines that manufacture premium acoustic and decorative panel products for both domestic and export markets.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for site performance, people leadership, operational excellence and the ongoing implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices as part of the Saint-Gobain network.
Key Responsibilities




Create and maintain a Zero Harm
culture by driving Never Walk Past behaviours and consistent safety leadership.
Lift performance
across safety, environment, quality, supply, and cost.
Lead WCM and Lean practices on site
, embedding continuous improvement in everyday operations.
Build a high-performing team
built on clear expectations, accountability and constructive leadership.
Run the site with rigour:
production planning, capacity, standards, cost control and compliance
(including COR).
Partner closely with Maintenance
to maximise equipment reliability and ensure planned work aligns with production priorities.
Own budget management
, cost control, waste minimisation and capital project oversight.
Ensure accurate production reporting in SAP
and maintain strong operational discipline.
About You
You are a proven manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with teams and driving operational excellence through people, process and performance.
We're looking for someone with:
Experience leading manufacturing operations in a
high-performing, safety-focused
environment
Strong working knowledge of Lean, 5S
and operational excellence tools (WCM exposure a big advantage)
Effective leadership




- clear, accountable, and people-oriented, driving performance while supporting team development.
Commercial acumen
and comfort managing budgets, cost centres and capex
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
Experience working alongside maintenance teams on preventative and predictive practices
Engineering qualifications
or a relevant diploma ideal
SAP experience
(nice to have)
Understanding of COR
or logistics requirements advantageous
