The Role
We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Mount Isa branch team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a valuable work/life balance.
We have an opportunity for either a full time Personal Banking Consultant or a 12-month contract as a Trainee Personal Banking Consultant.
As a Personal Banking Consultant your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to Members and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and service.
Alternatively, if successful as a trainee, you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Business as part of your traineeship at the branch.
Some of your key duties include having quality conversations and educating our Members on our products, managing basic Member enquiries and transactions, and maintaining accurate records in our systems.

This is a full-time permanent position, working approximately 38 hours per week.
Selection Criteria
Experience in a similar customer service position
Demonstrated sales experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office
Experience in the Finance industry (desirable)
