Are you looking to build a career in HR and recruitment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, work directly alongside our HR Advisor, and develop broad skills across the full people function from day one.
This is a newly created role sitting at the heart of our people function, supporting the HR, Training & Policy Advisor across recruitment coordination, HR administration, compliance tracking, and Employment Hero management. Based in our Collingwood office, you will be given the tools, training, and support to grow quickly - and the scope to make the role your own.
About Us
Next Level Elevators and Compact Home Lifts are leading providers of elevators and home lift solutions across Australia, operating in VIC, NSW, and QLD. We are in an exciting growth phase, expanding our team and footprint nationally. Our people are at the centre of everything we do, and this role is a key part of building the HR foundation that will support that growth.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the HR, Training & Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for keeping our recruitment running smoothly, our employee records in order, and our compliance obligations met - nationally. You will work closely with the HR Advisor and hiring managers across the business, and will be the go‐to person for all things recruitment admin and HR coordination.
What You'll Do
Manage SEEK job advertisements and coordinate recruitment activity end-to-end using JobAdder ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter
Schedule interviews, coordinate reference checks, and manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding packs using approved templates
Administer Employment Hero day‐to‐day, maintaining employee profiles, certifications, and compliance records
Maintain the national licence and certification register for field staff — including trade licences, EWP, working at heights, and NDIS‐related checks
Manage expiry reminders and coordinate renewals nationally, keeping the compliance calendar up to date
Track NDIS Worker Screening Checks, Working with Children Checks, and police check renewals across all states
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, probation tracking, and exit documentation
Book and coordinate training for field staff nationally, maintaining training records in Employment Hero
What We're Looking For
1+ year's experience in an HR, recruitment, administration, or people‐focused role — or a relevant qualification with some practical exposure
Strong attention to detail - you take accuracy seriously and catch things others miss
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
Experience with an HRIS platform is a plus - Employment Hero experience is a bonus but not essential, as training will be provided
Exposure to an ATS or recruitment platform is an advantage but not required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
A proactive approach - you don't wait to be asked, you see what needs doing and do it
An interest in HR, employment law, or people operations and a desire to learn and grow in this space
Experience in a trade, field services, or NDIS‐related environment is a bonus but absolutely not essential
Why Join Us
A genuine prospect to build your HR career - this role covers the full people function, not just one narrow area
A business that is growing quickly - your role will grow with it
Supportive, collaborative team environment with a clear growth trajectory
Collingwood location - close to public transport and surrounded by great cafes
