We are a growing
registered NDIS provider
expanding our clinical services across disability support and aged care. As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking experienced, compassionate, and clinically confident
Registered Nurses
to join our team on a casual basis.
We currently have two priority complex care participants requiring immediate clinical oversight, with additional opportunities expected as we continue to expand our NDIS and aged care services.
Current Opportunities
Brighton
Provide clinical oversight for an adult participant living with
quadriplegia
requiring high-intensity supports.
Approximate commitment:
Around 10 hours per month
Combination of on-site clinical visits and remote clinical support
Essential clinical experience:
Male suprapubic catheter (SPC) management and catheter changes
Medication management
High-intensity disability support
Tarneit
Provide clinical oversight for a young participant living with
Cerebral Palsy
and
refractory epilepsy
.
Approximate commitment:
Around 8 hours per month
On-site clinical support
Essential clinical experience:
PEG-J feeding management
Epilepsy management
Paediatric complex care (highly desirable)
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical governance and oversight to participants receiving high-intensity supports under the NDIS Practice Standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive nursing and high-intensity support assessments
Developing and reviewing individualised clinical care plans
Providing competency-based training and ongoing clinical supervision to disability support workers
Performing clinical procedures within your scope of practice
Supporting medication management and monitoring participant health outcomes
Reviewing and signing off on clinical documentation, support worker competencies, care plans and progress notes
Maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies
Liaising with participants, families, allied health professionals, medical practitioners and external stakeholders
Identifying clinical risks and implementing appropriate management strategies
Contributing to continuous quality improvement across our disability and aged care services
About You
You are an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working independently while supporting participants with complex health needs.
You will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Current First Aid and CPR certification
National Police Check
Working with Children Check (Employee)
Current Victorian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience training and mentoring support workers
Sound understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and high-intensity support requirements
Highly Desirable Experience
Applicants with experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
Male suprapubic catheter (SPC) management and catheter changes

Refractory epilepsy

High-intensity disability supports
Community nursing
Clinical governance within disability services
