The opportunity Reporting to the Head of People Culture, this part-time (3 days per week) Workplace Safety Business Partner role has been established to lead the next phase of the organisation's workplace safety journey.
Rather than starting from scratch, you'll build on strong foundations, enhancing existing systems, strengthening capability and embedding a consistent safety culture across a geographically dispersed organisation.
You will: Partner with leaders to strengthen workplace health and safety across multiple services.
Enhance existing WHS frameworks, governance, reporting and risk management practices.
Coach, influence and build capability so safety becomes part of everyday operations.
Lead initiatives that improve physical and psychosocial safety while driving continuous improvement.
About you You are an experienced Workplace Health Safety qualified who enjoys partnering with leaders, influencing positive change and building practical solutions that make a lasting impact.
You will bring:
Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health Safety.
Experience developing and improving WHS systems within a multi-site organisation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Sound knowledge of contemporary WHS legislation and best practice.
Experience in education, community services, healthcare or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
