Job Details HR Business Partner | Purpose-Led Organisation | North West Melbourne Permanent | On-site 4 days per week | Make a real impact in your community Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking to use your expertise in a role with genuine purpose?
We're partnering with a community-focused organisation in Melbourne's north-west seeking a passionate HR professional to join their collaborative People Culture team.
This is an opportunity to build trusted relationships with leaders, navigate complex people matters and make a meaningful impact on both employees and the wider community.
This is a hands-on, operational HR Business Partner role where you'll support a dedicated client group across the full employee lifecycle.
Working in a dynamic, people-first environment, you'll partner closely with leaders, provide practical HR advice and help foster a positive workplace culture.
About the Role As a trusted HR Business Partner, you'll: Partner with leaders across your dedicated client group, providing practical, solutions-focused HR advice and becoming their trusted people adviser; Coach and support managers through performance, conduct and employee relations matters, building leadership capability and confidence; Interpret Enterprise Agreements, employment legislation and HR policies to deliver clear, practical and compliant advice; Provide guidance on remuneration, classifications and employment conditions across a diverse workforce; Support the full employee lifecycle, including employment variations, transfers and changes to working arrangements; Build strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering responsive HR support that makes a genuine difference to frontline teams; and Apply your HR expertise to navigate complex people matters while balancing operational priorities with best practice.
About You You're a confident HR generalist who enjoys partnering with leaders and solving complex people challenges.
You build trust quickly, communicate with influence and thrive in a team-oriented, values-driven environment.
You'll Bring: Strong employee relations experience, including performance management, conduct and workplace investigations; Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements; Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coach leaders; A practical, solutions-focused approach and a genuine passion for supporting people; and Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
