Job Description Reporting to the Food Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver professional, productive and friendly service to our guests.
You will be assisting the Food Beverage operations team with the day-to-day operations in both the restaurant and banquets.
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise Food and Beverage outlet operations during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner meal periods; Create an energetic and engaging environment where team members and guests can connect over great Food Beverage; The role may also involve working across banquet and conference operations as required.
Communicate and delegate tasks to the team Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner Assist the Food Beverage Manager with analysing performance, rostering and budgeting; Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members.

Qualifications Passion for customer service; Supervisory experience in a similar role; Proven experience in leading and motivating a team; Strong interpersonal skills both with internal and external customers; Demonstrated ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure; Excellent time management and communication skills; Be available to work across a variety of shifts and Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) in VIC Additional Information The Mercure brand is part of the Accor Group.
