About Our Role

As a Senior BMS Service Technician for Johnson Controls', you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of building management systems (BMS) in commercial and industrial facilities across our expanding Defence portfolio as well as other locations. This full-time role is an integral part of our team, ensuring that our clients' building systems are operating efficiently and reliably.

What You'll Be Doing

Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on BMS equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systemsDiagnosing and repairing faults in BMS components and systemsWorking with complex IT networks Quoting and Implementing system upgrades and modifications as requiredProviding technical support and training to building occupants and facility managersMaintaining detailed records of all service activitiesCollaborating with the wider team to ensure a seamless and efficient service deliveryWorking within client portals to close out works

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a BMS or HVAC service technician, with a robust understanding of building automation systemsTechnical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or building automation systemsStong understanding of IT networks, patching etcProficient with Microsoft **** product Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA valid driver's licence and reliable transportationAbility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance (Baseline at a minimum)
