Located in Sydney's vibrant North West corridor and operated by Healthscope, Norwest is a up-to-date, high-acuity facility with 277 beds, a fully equipped Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and a comprehensive theatre complex supporting a wide range of surgical specialties.

About the Day Infusion Unit Our Day Infusion Unit provides chemotherapy and intravenous infusions for patients with cancer and other chronic conditions.
The unit is known for its expert clinical care, compassionate nursing, and a strong focus on guiding patients through their treatment journey with dignity and respect.
The unit is expanding, and we're inviting enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join a team that's recognised for its clinical capability, collaborative culture, and unwavering commitment to patient experience.
You'll be supported by our Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and a team of highly skilled and specialised Registered Nurses, who will provide clinical transition support and mentorship to help you thrive in the role.

Experience in a day infusion unit is ideal, but we're open to training the right candidate who is eager to grow in this specialty.
Key Responsibilities : · Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care · Perform IV cannulation and manage central venous access devices (CVADs) · Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team · Educate and support patients throughout their treatment · Maintain a strong focus on patient and staff safety What You'll Bring Essential: · Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse · Commitment to quality patient care · Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Ability to work independently and within a team · High level of computer literacy · Valid Working with Children Check Desirable: · Experience with management of Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs) · Competency in IV cannulation · Skills and experience in anti-neoplastic medication management Why Healthscope?
