Your role As a Physiotherapist, you'll be a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and clients.
You'll have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a collaborative workplace, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You'll practise in line with the Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines, ensuring safe, ethical, and person-centred care at every stage of the patient journey.
This position will be offered on a 6 month fixed-term basis, working 15.2 hours per week with the possibility of future opportunities with SJG Health Care.
The Position Provide high-quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
Use patient-centred care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings.
Use evidence-based patient treatment outcome measures, patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
Assist with education and training programs for students as requested.
Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed.
This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.




Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required.
Delegate to other staff members where appropriate e.g. Allied Health Assistants, or students.
Liaise with other staff and educate staff about patient/client care.
Maintain effective communication with patients, their families, staff and external health professionals and agencies to ensure quality patient management.
You will be a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist with current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
You will bring experience delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across relevant clinical settings, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments, and be committed to providing evidence-based, person-centred care.
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will thrive in a collaborative setting where teamwork and shared expertise deliver the best possible outcomes for patients.
An understanding of a range of public and private funding arrangements will be highly regarded and will support your success in this diverse and rewarding role.

We can offer you Grade 1 Salary: $88,501 to $124,464,



plus 12% superannuation A 6 month fixed-term, part-time position, working 15.2 hours per week.
