The Opportunity: Part-Time 0.5 EFT | Fixed-Term contract of employment until 18 December ****.
TL $90,879 - $128,887 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Chadstone and Moorabbin Campuses – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

As the Teacher – Positive Behaviour Support Intervention, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by helping them re-engage with learning, build positive behaviours and strengthen their confidence in the classroom.
You will design and deliver evidence-informed individual, small-group and classroom-based interventions, identify behavioural and engagement needs, and develop practical strategies that support each student's participation and progress.
Working closely with students, teachers, wellbeing professionals, families and education leaders,
you will help create an environment where young people feel supported, included and capable of succeeding.
This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who is passionate about positive behaviour support, student engagement and inclusive education, and who wants to see the direct impact of their work on young people's lives.
As Teacher – Positive Behaviour Support Intervention, you will: Plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-informed individual, small-group and classroom-based educational programs that support positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning.
Analyse information relating to behaviour, engagement and participation, and use professional judgement to determine appropriate educational strategies and supports.
Implement and review educational strategies and support plans that respond to identified student needs and promote engagement, participation and progression.
Collect and analyse relevant information and data to monitor student progress and the effectiveness of interventions, adapting approaches as required and providing timely advice regarding outcomes, emerging risks and recommended next steps.
Identify common behavioural, social, emotional or engagement needs across student cohorts and plan and facilitate targeted positive behaviour support sessions and group interventions designed to address those needs and strengthen students' participation, relationships and engagement in learning.
To be successful, you'll have: An approved degree or higher in one of Education, Specialist Education, Teaching, Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work or similar Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE ***** or TAE***** or TAE*****)
or its successor; or An approved diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training; Or A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials: - TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set, or - TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or - TAESS***** VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.
Current VIT Registration WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
