About the Role Interscale is seeking a Computer Network and Systems Engineer to support the design, configuration, maintenance and optimisation of network, server and cloud infrastructure across client environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable systems, resolving complex infrastructure issues and supporting secure technology operations.
Location: Suite 915, 401 Docklands Drive, Docklands VIC **** Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Key Responsibilities Analyse, design, configure, test and optimise network and systems infrastructure across client ICT environments Install, configure and administer servers, network devices, operating systems and related infrastructure Monitor network and system performance, availability and capacity and recommend improvements where required Diagnose and resolve complex network, server, connectivity and infrastructure issues Configure and maintain routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and secure remote-access environments Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and AWS environments Implement and maintain backup,



recovery and disaster recovery solutions Plan, test and implement network and systems upgrades, configuration changes and infrastructure improvements Review network and systems security and implement appropriate access controls, patching and infrastructure protection measures Maintain network diagrams, system configurations and other technical documentation Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in network engineering, systems engineering or infrastructure administration Practical experience configuring and supporting servers, network infrastructure and related ICT systems Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and network security Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and associated systems administration technologies Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud infrastructure will be highly regarded Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, system monitoring and infrastructure security practices Robust network and systems troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and technical teams Only candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
