11th August, **** Procurement Specialist – Argyle Perth | Short-Term Contract We're seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the team supporting the transition of the former Argyle Diamond Mine into its Monitoring Maintenance phase.
This is a great chance for a procurement professional to work on a unique and high-profile mine closure project, supporting a busy pipeline of upcoming procurement packages and contracts.
The Role You'll work closely with project and technical teams to: Manage end-to-end sourcing and pre-award procurement activities.
Develop and manage RFPs/RFQs and tender processes.
Support stakeholders with scope development and procurement strategy.
Evaluate commercial proposals and support negotiations.
Establish and vary contracts.
Manage multiple procurement activities and stakeholders.
About You We're looking for someone who has: 8+ years' procurement experience.
Strong pre-award and sourcing experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Strong SAP Ariba experience - essential.
SAP experience highly regarded.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work at pace.
Experience working with Traditional Owner businesses or in complex stakeholder environments is highly desirable.
Mining/resources experience is advantageous but not essential.
