About the Role As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring consistent quality, presentation and food safety standards.
You will work closely with our kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation requirements.
Assist in preparing a variety of Indian dishes and other menu items.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes.
Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organised and hygienic.
Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace health and safety requirements.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Receive, check and correctly store food and ingredients.
Rotate stock appropriately and help minimise food wastage.




Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes when required.
Work efficiently with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 1–2 years of relevant experience working as a Cook or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
Experience preparing and cooking a range of dishes.
Experience or knowledge of Indian cuisine is highly regarded.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
Strong attention to food quality, presentation and consistency.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and reliable approach to work.
