Key Responsibilities: Applying paints, stains, and varnishes as per requirements.
Prepare work areas by erecting scaffolding and ladders and placing drop sheets to protect surrounding surfaces from paint splatter.
Remove old paint and wallpaper, repair woodwork, fill holes and cracks, and smooth and seal surfaces in preparation for painting.
Mix and prepare paints to desired colours by combining pigments, oils, and appropriate thinning or drying agents.
Apply paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for a smooth, professional finish.
Hang wallpaper, align patterns, and neatly trim edges for a polished appearance.
Clean tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain a tidy and safe work environment.




Perform minor repairs, including replacing glass in timber or metal frames.
Lay and repair floor and wall tiles as required.
Requirements: Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in painting or related trades Certificate III or IV in Painting and Decorating (preferred but not essential) Sound knowledge of painting tools, materials, and safety procedures Physically fit and able to work on ladders and scaffolds.
Solid attention to detail and time management skills Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
