The Role We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Manager to lead a small team and drive the organisation's data governance and management strategy.
This is a hands-on leadership prospect for someone who can bridge the gap between technology, data and the wider business.
You'll play a key role in improving data ownership, stewardship, quality and governance while helping embed better data practices across the organisation.
You'll also be involved in significant transformation initiatives, including post-merger integration and broader data transformation programs.




Responsibilities Lead and develop a small Data Governance team Drive the organisation's data governance and data management strategy Establish and improve data ownership, accountability and stewardship Develop and implement data governance policies, standards and frameworks Improve data quality, metadata, lineage and data management practices Work with business leaders and Data Stewards to embed governance into day-to-day operations Support major transformation, migration and integration initiatives Help develop and implement modern data governance and catalogue capabilities Partner with Data, Technology, Architecture and business teams Support data risk, regulatory and compliance requirements Drive greater data literacy and accountability across the organisation Skills
