Aspirante is seeking an experienced Master Planner / Scheduler to join a highly complex Queensland Government environment delivering significant enterprise-wide ICT and business transformation initiatives.
Start ASAP to end of December **** with potential for extension.
The Master Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for providing specialist advice and executing tasks in the provision of planning and scheduling services to enable resource management, dependency management, monitoring and reporting the progress the Department's Programs.
The broader technology workplace includes major enterprise platforms and solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, workforce management, payroll and other large-scale corporate systems.
Working across a portfolio of significant ICT initiatives, you will: Develop, maintain and continuously improve integrated program schedules and scheduling standards.
Facilitate planning workshops to establish timelines, milestones and cross-program dependencies.
Establish and maintain schedule baselines across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Map complex interdependencies and ensure appropriate scheduling logic across implementations.
Monitor schedule progress and performance, identifying risks, constraints and corrective actions.
Provide proactive reporting on resource supply,
demand and schedule impacts.
Work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and project/program leadership to drive realistic and achievable delivery plans.
You will ideally bring: Extensive experience as a Master Scheduler, Program Scheduler, Senior Planner or ICT Planner/Scheduler.
Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex ICT or enterprise transformation programs.
Advanced capability with Microsoft Project / Project Online or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools.
Strong experience managing dependencies, resource planning, baselines and multiple concurrent implementations.
Experience facilitating planning workshops involving multiple delivery teams and stakeholders.
The ability to identify weaknesses in schedule design and apply recognised scheduling best practice.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including providing senior-level advice on progress, risks, issues and constraints.
