We're part of The Harry's Family, a growing hospitality group with multiple venues across Bondi Beach. We take what we do seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously.
The Role We're looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the team at Harry's Bondi. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own the day-to-day operation, build a high-performing team, and help shape what Harry's Bondi looks and feels like for our guests.
This role spans weekdays and weekends, we need someone who leads from the floor and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
What You'll Do
Lead, motivate, and develop a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences every shift
Oversee day-to-day operations across floor, bar, and kitchen coordination
Drive staffing - rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Manage venue costs including labour, COGS, and waste with a strong focus on profitability and margin
Actively contribute to menu development and product innovation - bringing ideas that make commercial sense and fit our brand
Stay across food, beverage, and hospitality trends and help translate them into what works for Harry's
Work alongside ownership and operations on brand direction, activations, and events
Maintain venue standards, compliance,



and a culture that people want to be part of
Contribute to marketing initiatives and community-building efforts where relevant
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Venue Manager in a high-volume, quality-driven environment
A natural leader who people genuinely want to follow
Strong grasp of staffing, rostering, and building team culture
Commercially sharp - you understand GP, labour cost, and how to run a profitable venue without compromising the experience
A creative eye for product - you get excited about menus, specials, and current offerings, and know how to develop them with the kitchen and bar team
Trend-aware and brand-literate - you follow what's happening in hospitality, food, and culture, and know how to filter that through our brand lens
An understanding of marketing, social, and what it takes to grow a brand
Local to Bondi or the Eastern Suburbs - we want someone invested in this community
Available to work a 7-day operation including weekends
Someone who sees this as more than a job - you want to grow with a group, not just fill a seat
