Technical Sales Person
to join our environmental technology sales team where you will help build supplier partnerships and ensure customers have access to the best solutions available.
Based in our Melbourne office, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, technical problem-solving, product management, supplier engagement and customer support.
In this role, you'll:
Build robust relationships with leading environmental technology suppliers from Australia and internationally.
Help identify and introduce innovative products that solve real customer challenges.
Be the link between suppliers, sales, marketing and technical teams to bring new solutions to market.
Keep an eye on industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
Support customers and the sales team with technical advice, product recommendations, and solution development.
Prepare quotes, manage sales opportunities and help turn enquiries into successful projects.




Develop product resources, guides and tools that make it easier for our team and customers to succeed.
Support in coordination of Tech Talks and training sessions that share knowledge across the industry.
Ensure our product information, website content and technical resources stay accurate and up to date.
Contribute ideas that strengthen HydroTerra's product portfolio, market presence and reputation as an industry leader.
What You'll Bring:
Technical sales, customer support and product support experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and collaborative approach
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
Interest in technology, innovation and environmental monitoring
Exposure to IoT, telemetry, instrumentation, or connected devices
Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel).
Experience in the environmental monitoring industry
