opportunity for a highly motivated Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team!
What will you do?
Your role will be to support our Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator in providing an engaging person-centred leisure and lifestyle program.
More specifically, your key duties will include:
participate and assist in the development of various activities that take into consideration the residents social needs and care plan
encourage and motivate residents and family to participate in the activities program
regularly evaluate activities and individual care plans in relation to the residents' social needs.
What you bring to the role
Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is preferred but Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) will be accepted.




Residential aged care and/or experience working with clients with dementia is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
A can-do attitude with the ability to learn and grow on the job
A friendly outgoing personality
A desire to work in the not-for-profit sector in a rewarding setting
