Product Development Technologist (12-month contract)
We are seeking a full-time Product Development Technologist to join our R&D; Team based in Moorabbin (12-month contract). Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will interact with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute NPD and in-house productivity activities in accordance with customer or business requirements.
The Role
Drive customer engagement to shape, refine, and deliver New Product Development (NPD) project briefs aligned to business and customer requirements.
Through Stage Gate process, lead end-to-end NPD projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and designed for successful scale-up to full manufacturing.
Lead end-to-end product development activities to execute in-house productivity projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders through project forums, providing technical input into costings, product specifications, artwork approvals, trials, and commercialization documentation.
Partner closely with Engineering and Operations to plan and execute production trials through to full commercial manufacture.
Lead and/or support factory troubleshooting activities to ensure product quality, process stability, and efficient issue resolution.

Your Skills
Minimum of 5 years' relevant R&D; experience within FMCG manufacturing environments.
Robust technical and hands‐on manufacturing expertise across Seasonings,



Marinades, Coating Systems and Wet Condiments.
Demonstrated passion for problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver practical, innovative technical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross‐functional teams, building strong and meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience highly regarded.
Comprehensive knowledge of FSANZ regulations and their application within product development and manufacturing environments.
