Learning and growing through adventure-based play.
We are a proud Tasmanian not-for-profit childcare provider of Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care services and state-wide Family Day Care services. We encourage outdoor and self-directed play, getting messy and having fun within caring and safe boundaries.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assist in ensuring that the program promotes children's agency, choices and influence.
Actively support every child to participate in the program.
Ensure a safe and stimulating physical environment where all staff and children are protected from hazards or harm.
Develop and maintain respectful, supportive and collaborative relationships with families and community.




Support the Service Coordinator to establish and maintain links with local networks, resource and support agencies, and other relevant organisations
Attend professional development opportunities and network meetings as appropriate or as directed by the Service Coordinator and/or the OSHC Manager.
Complete any collection of data, medical or other records required in a timely manner, and in accordance with the Organisation's policies and procedures and the NQS.
Complete an adequate number of Xplor observations for all children in care at the service.
Perform other duties reasonably required for the operation of the OSHC service, or as directed by the Service Coordinator.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Demonstrated experience in the education and care of children of school age.
Demonstrated experience and ability to establish warm nurturing and responsive relationships with children and to sensitively meet their needs
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults
Demonstrated ability to work with families, children and educators in a culturally competent manner
The ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment
