The Role
Due to ongoing growth and expansion, MTR Electrical Solutions is seeking an Estimating & Contracts Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working across estimating, contract administration, and project delivery.
Working closely with our Director, Project Manager, and Technical & Automation Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of high-end residential electrical, automation, security, and AV projects. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on the business.
The role will include, but not be limited to:
Reviewing and verifying tender pricing before submission
Cross-checking scopes, drawings, and specifications to identify gaps and inconsistencies
Preparing and managing variation documents and obtaining client approvals
Updating scopes, pricing, and documentation following client meetings
Updating site drawings to include the details required for the site teams.
Maintaining drawing registers and tracking project revisions
Assisting with technical quotations for home automation, AV, cinema, CCTV, and security systems
Supporting project delivery through accurate administration and documentation




Liaising with suppliers, builders, clients, and internal stakeholders

Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be comfortable reviewing drawings, scopes, and pricing documentation

Be receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement

Prerequisites
To be considered for an interview, you should have:
Experience in estimating, contract administration, project coordination, or a similar role
Technical knowledge of electrical, automation, AV, construction, or a related industry
Strong written communication skills
High attention to detail
Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope documents
Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Previous experience within the electrical, automation, construction, or trade industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
