My client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead reliability and automation across a highly automated FMCG manufacturing site.
The Company My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer with a strong presence across the Australian market, operating a high-volume and highly automated manufacturing environment.
With continued investment in automation, asset performance and operational capability, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a major manufacturing site.
This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
The Role Reporting into Site Leadership, the responsibilities of the role includes: • Leading the site maintenance function with a strong emphasis on automation, electrical systems and controls • Developing and executing maintenance and reliability strategies to maximise equipment availability and plant performance • Leading, coaching and developing the maintenance team to build a proactive, high-performing culture • Driving preventative and predictive maintenance programs across highly automated production lines • Working closely with Production and Site Leadership to identify recurring failures and implement sustainable solutions • Supporting the reliability of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, instrumentation, sensors and automated equipment • Using maintenance and reliability data to identify trends, improve OEE and reduce unplanned downtime • Managing maintenance budgets, contractors, spare parts and external service providers • Supporting automation upgrades,



equipment improvements and CAPEX projects from a maintenance and reliability perspective Your Background In order to be successful in this role, you will be: • An experienced Maintenance Manager, Reliability Manager or senior maintenance professional within FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment • Robust technically across automation, electrical systems and industrial control systems • Experienced with PLCs, SCADA, robotics, instrumentation or highly automated production equipment • Proven in developing preventative, predictive and reliability-focused maintenance strategies • A strong people leader with experience managing and developing maintenance teams • Commercially minded with experience managing maintenance budgets and contractors • Comfortable working closely with Production and Site Leadership to deliver operational outcomes • From a Maintenance or Reliability background, with a track record of progressing into site leadership roles • Experience within food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical or another high-volume FMCG environment highly regarded What's On Offer: In return, you will be given the opportunity to join a leading FMCG manufacturer and take ownership of the maintenance function within a highly automated production environment, with significant scope to improve reliability, automation performance and overall plant efficiency.
