Start date: 14 September **** Roster: Flexible 24/7 rotating roster Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week / approximately 2-3 shifts Rate: $*****/hr + super + penalties Extra shifts: Opportunities available Key responsibilities As an Operator - Real-Time Network Management, you will: Monitor real-time operations of the state-controlled road network.
Respond to road incidents, disruptions and operational issues.
Provide accurate real-time information to internal and external stakeholders.
Escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
Liaise with stakeholders and service providers during planned and unplanned incidents.
Monitor changing traffic and network conditions.
Process a high volume of telephone enquiries.
Accurately record information in the Incident Management System.
Work collaboratively with a diverse operational team.
About you We are looking for people who are reliable, flexible and resilient , and who can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
To be successful, you will have: Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster .
Availability for 2-3 shifts per week , with a minimum commitment of 15 hours.
A willingness to pick up additional shifts when available.
Strong reliability and attendance.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple situations at once.
Strong communication and listening skills.
A team-focused attitude and ability to work effectively with others.
The ability to follow procedures,



policies and directions.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Well-developed computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Resilience and the ability to work effectively in a quick-paced environment.
Training commitment You must be available to complete: 20 weekdays of classroom training , commencing 14 September **** (excluding the Queensland public holiday on 5 October).
4 weeks of supervised shadow shifts , Monday-Friday, with 3 shifts per week, including at least 1 morning and 1 afternoon shift.
Following training, you will transition into the 24/7 roster, with additional shifts available.
Mandatory requirements Availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster .
Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week .
Flexibility to work 2-3 shifts per week .
Willingness to pick up additional shifts where available.
Valid working rights in Australia.
Ability to successfully complete a criminal history check.
