The Boat Works is seeking a motivated, reliable team player to join our growing company in a full time position. This role involves transporting and launching vessels in and out of the water, using various types of equipment, including forklifts and straddle carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, travel lifts, and sealifts to safely move and position boats
Assist with waterblasting and cleaning the hull of vessels for maintenance works
Set vessels down and return boats to the water after maintenance works
Greet and welcome customers on the jetty, ensuring a positive customer experience
Work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with all relevant safety standards
Two- way radio communication
Ideal Candidates Will Have:




Previous experience with crane operation, rigging, dogman, or warehousing machinery (highly desirable)
Labour intensive role that requires lifting and walking up to 20km per day
A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
Marine-related experience is a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
