Our Melbourne team is expanding following the successful acquisition of several new client projects across eCommerce, enterprise web applications, digital transformation, and cloud-based software development. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing development team.

About the Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain modern web applications and eCommerce platforms for Australian and international clients. You will work closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, digital marketing specialists and clients to deliver secure,



scalable and high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, test and maintain full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.
● Develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.
● Build responsive frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
● Develop and customise Shopify themes, Shopify applications and Shopify Plus solutions.
● Develop Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions and Admin UI Extensions.
● Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases and REST/GraphQL APIs.
● Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems and marketing platforms.
● Develop cloud-based applications and participate in CI/CD deployment processes.
● Troubleshoot, debug and optimise software applications.
● Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers to implement responsive user interfaces.
● Prepare technical documentation, release notes and deployment documentation.
● Participate in Agile software development, sprint planning and code reviews.
● Ensure software quality, security, scalability and best development practices.

Essential Skills & Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.




● Minimum five years of commercial software development experience.

Strong experience with:
● TypeScript
● JavaScript (ES6+)
● Node.js
● NestJS
● React.js
● Next.js
● Experience developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
● Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
● Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
● Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
