How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:
Leadership and development of a small team of Facilities staff
Management of cleaning/janitorial services
Management of waste collection services
Collaboration with senior management team in locating and selecting new facilities as needed
Selection and ordering of furniture/desks/chairs/etc for our facilities
Development of preventative maintenance schedules for all serviceable facilities equipment (HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, roller doors, etc.)




Coordination with contractors as needed to solve facilities related issues and make facilities related upgrades (Electricians, Plumbers, Dry‐Wallers, etc.)
Developing CAD models and/or layouts of our facilities
Assistance in designing spaces that facilitate efficient collaboration between our staff
Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
5+ years' experience in a similar role
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to lead a small team
NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or other technical discipline
Demonstrated ability to manage a team
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Experience negotiating contracts and comparing service costs to achieve maximum value
Experience coordinating with third‐party vendors
Experience managing budgets
Experience with asset management software
Knowledge of building management and automated facilities monitoring systems and processes, such as: HVAC systems, fluid plumbing systems, fire suppression systems, generators, or fuel storage systems
Acute attention to detail and cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently with little direction
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‐paced, ever‐changing environment
Ability to anticipate needs and develop innovative solutions for continuous improvement
