Are you a final-year teaching student looking to build classroom experience while completing your studies?
The Department of Education is seeking applications from final-year pre-service teachers enrolled in an accredited early childhood, primary or secondary initial teacher education qualification (Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching) in ****.
The Pre-Service Teacher Employment Register allows Western Australian public schools to consider eligible pre-service teachers for part-time teaching opportunities of up to 0.8 FTE across metropolitan, regional and remote schools.
Appointments may vary in duration depending on the needs of the school.
Acceptance to the Employment Register does not guarantee employment.
Work with us

As an employee of the Department, you may also have access to:

Vacation leave (school holidays) and other leave entitlements, including sick and carers' leave
Subsidised accommodation where applicable
Pre-Service Teachers appointed from the Employment Register may also:

Please note, employment from this register can't be used as recognition of prior learning or credits toward university studies.

How The Employment Register Works
If your eligibility is confirmed, you will be accepted to the Pre-Service Teacher Employment Register and notified accordingly.
