M5 Westbound Upgrade Project
Seymour Whyte has been awarded the design and construct contract by Transport for NSW to deliver the M5 Westbound Upgrade in Moorebank, Sydney.
Valued between $250M–$300M and running from **** to ****, this major transport infrastructure project will enhance one of south-west Sydney's key arterial routes, supporting economic and residential growth while improving connectivity across the region.
The project will remove a critical traffic weave between Moorebank Avenue and the Hume Highway, reducing congestion and improving network reliability.
Key works include a new three-lane bridge over the Georges River and adjacent rail lines, enhanced freight access to the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal, and new pedestrian and cyclist links, improving access to the Liverpool CBD and delivering safer, more efficient travel for all road users.
