We have built a special culture where innovation thrives because everyone owns the mission and we need smart, creative people to help us scale this impact to every corner of the globe.We're looking for a Strategic Finance Analyst to join our Finance team and help shape how we make decisions as we scale.This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, strategic finance or a similarly high-performance environment who wants to move beyond advising businesses and into helping build one.You'll bring solid analytical capability, financial modelling expertise and commercial curiosity, applying those skills across forecasting, business performance, strategic planning and growth initiatives in a fast, operationally hands-on environment.
Working closely with senior leaders,
you'll own key forecasting and analytical areas, support reporting and planning cycles and help drive business performance, while gaining exposure to SaaS economics, capital planning, fundraising and M&A; in a high-growth technology environment.We are looking for someone who takes initiative, pushes through ambiguity and enjoys drawing real insight out of the numbers.
As part of a small, high-impact finance team, you'll take ownership early and have the opportunity to expand your scope as the business grows.What You'll DoOwn key forecasting, modelling and analytical areas across the business from day one - find where we can do better and turn numbers into actionable insightBuild and maintain insightful dashboards - identify what's worth showing, surface it, and bring it to the relevant stakeholdersSupport budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processesReporting & Business InsightsRefine and improve management reporting processes and frameworksTrack financial performance, investigate variances, and translate findings into recommendationsSupport strategic projects, including capital raises and M&A; due diligenceDeliver analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders across the businessProcess & SystemsImprove reporting, planning and FP&A; processes as the business scalesEnhance reporting automation,
data quality and financial governance practicesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and the wider organisationAs you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to:Partner closely with leaders across the business as a trusted source of commercial insightPlay an active role in M&A; projects - running market screens, building business cases, and modelling deals that shape the company's directionSupport cash flow, capital planning and investment decisions that shape Neara's future growthWhat We're Looking For2–3 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, strategic finance or a similarly rigorous analytical environmentStrong financial modelling and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment with hands-on executionHigh attention to detail while maintaining a broader commercial perspectiveNice to HaveExposure to BI tools, financial systems or reporting platformsSQL, Python or data analytics experienceWhy work hereCompetitive salary + ESOP.
