Aligned Search is partnering with a well-established organisation who are looking for a Payroll Manager to lead their payroll operations and systems function (Dayforce).

About the role:
Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple cycles
Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, and EA's
Act as the escalation point for complex payroll matters
Oversee payroll audits, reporting, and reconciliations
Drive system optimisation, upgrades, and data integrity
Partner with Finance, HR, and IT to enhance payroll processes
Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‐performing payroll team
About you:




Strong experience in payroll leadership roles
Deep knowledge of Australian payroll compliance and legislation
SCHADS experience is desirable
Dayforce experience is desirable
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
Experience managing payroll audits, reporting, and controls
Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence across the business
