Care Specialist
Develop and implement specialized care methodologies that ensure consistent, high-quality support for NDIS participants with complex needs.

Role Purpose
As a Care Specialist in the National Care Department, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and evolving specialized support methodologies for participants with complex needs.
You contribute to the department's mission of owning and executing the end‐to‐end participant experience as a frontline of trust and NDIS compliance.
You work within the service delivery stage of our WorkWellTM Model, ensuring that support approaches are evidence‐based, person‐centered, and consistently applied.
You collaborate closely with Care Onboarding & Relationship Specialists to translate participant 'Blueprints' into detailed care protocols, and with Support Coordinators and Support Workers to implement these approaches in daily practice.
In line with our WorkWellTM contribution, you help ensure every participant receives a tailored care experience and provide real‐time feedback for system improvement.
Your role requires deep expertise in specialized support areas and the ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical, effective support strategies that enhance participant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop specialized support methodologies for participants with complex needs based on evidence, best practices, and participant preferences




Translate participant "Blueprints" into detailed support plans with transparent strategies, triggers, responses, and progress indicators
Research and integrate emerging practices in specialized support areas (autism, complex behaviors, mental health, etc.)
Create clear, accessible support documents and visual aids for participants and support team members
Success Factors

Service Delivery & Participant Experience – develop specialized methodologies that teams use to deliver services aligned with participant blueprints and NDIS plans
Performance Monitoring & Feedback – evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of care approaches through outcome measurement and participant feedback
Continuous Improvement – refine support approaches, update methodologies based on evidence and outcomes

Qualifications
Degree in Allied Health, Psychology, Disability, or related field
3+ years experience in specialized support roles
