Cost & Finance Analyst
Contract through to 30 June **** (commencing August ****)Defence Program OpportunityWilliamtown, NSWNV-1 Security Clearance Required
An exciting opportunity for a Cost & Finance Analyst to support a major Defence capability program.
This role will see you working across complex project activities, providing critical financial forecasting, cost modelling, estimation, and commercial analysis to support long-term investment and program delivery outcomes.
Working within a team-oriented Defence and industry setting, you will provide trusted financial insights and help drive informed decision-making across a high-profile autonomous systems capability program.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver contract development activities in accordance with CASG policy and within required timeframesLead and support commercial activities across the full capability lifecycle, from procurement planning to contract closureCollaborate with key CASG stakeholdersUndertake research and provide advice on commercial, legal, technical and policy mattersMentor and support Contract Management and Contract Development Officers to build team capabilityEngage effectively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve outcomesEnsure compliance with policy requirements and manage commercial risks and performanceDeliver Air Combat Systems (ACS)
Branch tasks efficiently and within expected timeframesProvide timely, accurate and high-quality support to Executive Leadership
Key Skills & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Procurement, Contract Management, Finance, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experienceDemonstrated experience in commercial, procurement or contract management within a complex, regulated environmentProven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships across diverse groupsStrong understanding of communication flows, resource management, priorities and workflows to achieve business outcomesAbility to identify, assess and manage commercial risks, including those related to contract development, supplier performance and complianceExperience applying procurement frameworks, policies and governance requirements (Defence/CASG experience highly regarded) integrity.
