In this role, you will be responsible for sample receipt, internal and external testing coordination, stock control, investigation support, and maintaining accurate records in line with GMP and company standards.
This position sits within the Quality Control laboratory and offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of laboratory operations, timely test execution, and continuous improvement across the QC group.ResponsibilitiesReceive and sign in samples to the Quality Control laboratory using SAPDistribute testing samples to the relevant testing laboratoriesEnsure testing is performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, with a solid focus on accuracy, quality, and timely outputDevelop and maintain documentation and records in accordance with GMP and company requirementsRaise and investigate non‐compliant samplesSupport the design and execution of Corrective and Preventative ActionsWork as an active team member to help coordinate activities and improve QC group performanceOrganise external testing requirements, including: raising purchase orders, shipping samples, liaising with testing vendors, and entering test results accurately into SAPPlan and execute Quality Control testing of intermediate and finished products, specifically: homogeneity testing, moisture content testingMaintain stock levels of consumables by: raising and coordinating purchase orders through SAP or Ariba, approving invoices, finalising orders, completing physical stock checks, identifying and replenishing expiring stockCoordinate activities through the central services department,



including: autoclaving, decontamination, preparation of testing equipmentSupport chemical water testing activities, including: receiving water samples, shipping or delivering samples to testing vendors, conducting conductivity testingQualificationsBachelor of Science preferred, or relevant experience in a laboratory or GMP environmentStrong organisational skillsProficiency in: Email Management, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft WordAbility to manage stock levels and coordinate replenishment ordersStrong planning and coordination skillsAbility to track testing progress, manage external testing requirements, and assess when escalation is neededAccountability, sound decision‐making, and a sense of urgencyStrong teamwork, networking, and partnership‐building skillsEmotional intelligence and a commitment to inclusion, and talent developmentAbility to contribute to leadership through collaboration and ownershipDriving Licence preferredWhat You Can ExpectWork in a supportive quality control environment where accuracy and compliance are valued.
