Being a part of our team

/n

Based from our manufacturing facility in Acacia Ridge, you will install and service optical fibre cable solutions across Queensland; ensuring efficient and reliable data communications.

/n

Day to day this will involve:

/n

/n

- Visiting customers sites across Queensland; joining, terminating and testing optical fibre cables and optical ground wire cables

/n

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the field

/n

- Reading and understanding cable plans and designs to safely and accurately install and repair solutions

/n

- Working safely and being comfortable working at heights, including climbing power transmission structures (6-10mtr) and working within confined spaces

/n/n

Essential skills

/n

/n

- ACMA Open Cable Registration or a willingness to complete and maintain the certification as part of your ongoing employment

/n

- The ability to follow tasks through to completion and work to deadlines

/n

- Comfortable flying to remote sites and driving long distances

/n

- A solid safety focus and a customer service ethos

/n

- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team

/n

- The right to work in Australia with no restrictions

/n

- MR Heavy Vehicle Licence. Note if this licence is currently not held, you will be supported to obtain it as a requirement of the position

/n

- Certificate 3 in Telecommunications

/n

- Prior site-based experience work, within the electrical or telecommunications industry

/n/n
