Real Health Medical Centre is looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our professional team.

Our practice provides a friendly, positive and respectful work environment whilst offering patients of all ages a variety of services to help with the management of their health.

The suitable candidate will need to have a professional, mature outlook with exceptional communication and computer skills. Your role will be to provide support to patients and doctors.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Greeting and assisting patients with professionalism and care.
/n
- Managing appointment bookings and patient records efficiently.
/n
- Processing payments and handling Medicare billing and workers' compensation claims.
/n
- Using a HICAPS machine for processing payments.
/n
- Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries.
/n
- Secure scanning, faxing, emailing medical of records and results
/n
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a welcoming environment in the reception area.
/n
- Keep practice clean and tidy at all times.
/n/n
Requirements
/n
/n
- A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Medical Receptionist
/n
- Familiarity with Best Practice software
/n
- Minimum 6 months hands-on experience using Best Practice software is required.
/n
- Medicare billings and workers' compensation processes.
/n
- Proficiency in using HICAPS machine.
/n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
/n
- Robust organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
/n
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and service.
/n
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
/n
