My Butler Service is Australia's largest home laundry delivery service.

We collect and deliver dry cleaning, laundry and ironing to residential clients across Sydney.

We have just celebrated our 10th anniversary of continued growth and profitability through an ever increasing client base.

During Covid we were designated as an essential service.

/n

Our online and delivery business model has proven itself by outperforming the traditional bricks and mortar retail establishments.

ROLE

/n

Our online business hinges on the collection and delivery of our customers' dry cleaning, laundry and ironing from residential premises throughout Sydney.

/n

Accordingly it is vital that our drivers provide a caring and professional level of service representing our business with a smile, service reliability, professionalism, consistency that ensures the service we provide remains more convenient to our clients than visiting a retail dry cleaning store.

/n

The work is clean and utilises the latest smart phone app technology.

/n

We will provide your uniform, training and a full induction into our safety systems.

/n

WHAT WE OFFER

/n

/n

- We provide a late model, 2T van, fully maintained, insured and fuelled at our expense.

/n

- A replacement van to keep you earning when the original is unavailable due to service or repair.

/n

- 5 Day Shift (Tue-Sat or Sun-Thurs).

/n

- Additional days frequently offered to cover for unavailable drivers.

/n

- Set start times (6:30am) and rosters.

/n

- Set start and finish point at our depot in Thornleigh.

/n

- All work is permanent runs in Sydney Metro area.

/n

- All local areas and work focused on 1 area per run.

/n

- Collecting from and delivering to residential locations.

/n

- All packages pre-loaded in stop order on your behalf.

/n

- 90% unattended collections or deliveries. Collect from and deliver to the front door.

/n





- 100% of customers have pre-authorised an authority to leave.

/n

- Vast majority of stops are repeat customers.

/n

- No money handling as 100% of customers have pre-paid.

/n

- Uniforms provided.

/n

- Full induction and training.

/n/n

MINIMUM CRITERIA

/n

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident visa holder.

/n

Have (or are willing to obtain) a Pty Ltd company (ACN) and a registration for GST (ABN).

/n

Have (or are willing to obtain) all compulsory insurances (a minimum of work cover and public liability).

/n

Have (or are willing to obtain) a late model, working smartphone, charging cable and holder.

/n

Aged 25 years or over (insurance requirement).

/n

Weigh less than 120kg to meet our van driver safe working load limit.

/n

Reasonably physically fit (repeated walking, stair climbing and carrying of packages weighing between 3kg to 15kg (average 5 kg).

/n

Current full NSW driver's licence (not provisional licence), held for at least 2 years (after expiry of provisional licence).

/n

A total of less than 5 demerit points.

/n

A minimum of 6 months experience of permanent run, multi-stop (40+ stops per day) courier delivery driving experience.

/n

A minimum of 6 months experience driving a 2 TONNE VAN or larger vehicle regularly for work purposes.

/n

Excellent communication, customer service skills and attention to detail.

/n

Positive English reading, writing and comprehension skills.

/n

Experience with using smartphone apps such as Phone, SMS, Google Maps.

/n

Your own transport to and from work. You do not take vehicle home.

/n

Accuracy, reliability & trustworthiness.

/n

A neat, clean, and professional appearance.

/n

A willingness to work in all weather conditions.

/n

Providing a less than stellar delivery experience directly decreases the value of our service to our clients.

This leads to losing more clients and having to charge lower prices to attract replacements, which makes us less profitable.

This results in having less to invest in improving our service, which in turn provides less value, which leads to losing more clients and charging lower prices, which in turn....
