What you'll do

As the Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-quality, confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, Healthcare Improvement Unit and the broader Healthcare Improvement Unit. You will coordinate complex diaries, manage correspondence and priorities, organise meetings, events and travel, and provide comprehensive secretariat support to committees and working groups, including the preparation of agendas, minutes and meeting documentation. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the unit by managing records, processing financial, procurement and human resource activities, preparing a range of documents and reports, and providing advice on administrative and operational matters. You will also play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery and responsive customer support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

- Effective interpersonal, written and oral skills, incorporating the ability to liaise effectively with officers of all levels, multi-disciplinary workforce, external agencies and members of the public.
- Organisational skills with an ability be self-motivated, work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment and deliver work of high quality, validity and accuracy to achieve team outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers, meet deadlines and establish work priorities to maximise efficiency, work output and the changing needs within the team.
- Lnowledge of computerised information management systems and contemporary software packages which assist in the provision of administrative support services and functions.




- Administrative support skills and experience of a high standard including knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the information systems relevant to the business.
