Registered Nurse: $81,748.16 - $114,771.98 per annum

Are you a passionate Mental Health Clinician looking to work in a dynamic, recovery-oriented community team? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse to join the Blue Mountains Assertive Community Treatment Team, based in Katoomba.

Our multidisciplinary team provides intensive, person-centered support to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness who require ongoing community-based care. We work collaboratively with consumers, families,



carers and partner agencies to promote recovery, reduce hospital admissions, and support people to live meaningful lives within their communities. This is a role where you will provide assertive outreach, comprehensive assessment, care coordination, and evidence-based interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs.

What you will bring to the role * Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and including eligibility for membership of relevant professional body &/or full registration (if applicable) with AHPRA

- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
- Experience working in a Community Mental Health Treatment Team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
- Computer competence and literacy.
- Current driver's license and willingness to use for work purposes
